Style Icon: Jackie O.

Her look:

Trend of the day: Drape front jacket

It isn't only its classic taupey color that I like.  Nor the fact that it's neutral and can be matched with virtually anything.  Nor that it's a cross-seasonal jacket that you can also wear in the fall.  What I love the most is that it's leather and still manages to pull off the drape front without looking out of shape.

Where to get it: Vince.

The sound of fashion.

When I think of "fashion" I always think back the VideoFashion credits from back in the 90s - always had Animotion's "Obsession" as a theme song.  I wish they still did....

Funky laptop case.

A friend of mine living in Hungary designs laptop cases.  Check out this cute one - very unique.  For more details, see ZsurigoWorks on Facebook.

In-between-seasons dressing.

With the relatively cold weather and rain this week, it's not going to be comfortable to slip into spring and summer looks.  Here are some suggestions from Net-à-Porter.   I love the Rive Gauche (except for the platforms - not the tall girl's favorite).  Boho romance is a perfect combo of early spring and summer. And easy elegance I could do at work.   Rive Gauche I would do casually - but I'm not sure about the front-pocket trend.  This one came back in 1995 to revive the 70s - have a been-there-done-that feeling about it - but it could still work...I guess sometimes reminiscing is alright.

Hot pink: Brooklyn's spring do or don't?

Where to get it: Michael Kors

When it doubt, wear nude.

...But, at all other times, wear colour.

If you're not feeling too sure of yourself, however, just go with the wide leg jeans and the early-80s style flowy silk top.

Where to get it: Kelly Bergin, available on Net-à-Porter.
